The real beauty of Cortijo El Ejido is its location on the side of the mountain looking down on the terrific views of the valleys of the Las Alpujarras. There are over 90 olive trees and a similar number of almond trees. The land is terraced and flows down the side of the hill. At the bottom of the hill there is a pleasant glade and stream, an ideal place to spend an afternoon.

There is a small spring water pool adjacent to the house (3.5m x 3.5m )and is surrounded by a large terrace and benefits from the most spectacular views and all day sunshine.

We provide shade for the pool terrace, sun loungers and patio furniture for outside dining. The pool is shared between the two apartments. There is plenty of outdoor space and it is easy to find a quiet, shaded spot to relax in.

The land is irrigated by traditional acequias built by the Moors carrying water from the High Sierras. There are no harmful pesticides used on the farm.
